The Founding Memo
Recovered, water-damaged, smells faintly of honeyOne page, undated, pinned above the garage door with a stinger instead of a tack.
“Start with a box. Any box. Put something in it, then put the box in a bigger box, and charge for the space in between. When the bigger box arrives, it will already be leaving. Never let the associates see it stop moving — if it looks like it stopped, they will ask why they haven’t.”
The memo is signed with a single wax seal, pressed while still warm. Nobody has explained how wax and honey ended up the same colour on the original.

████████ copies. One is missing. It has always been missing.
Personnel File
Associate roster, partialThe Hive does not publish an org chart. It publishes a hum, and asks you to infer the chart from the pitch.
The Forager
Finds the next box before anyone has ordered it. Reports directly to the smell of the warehouse.
The Nurse Bee
Keeps the newer associates fed on the same three slides about culture. The slides mention honey nine times.
The Guard
Stands at the door with no visible weapon and an extremely visible sting. Has never once had to use either.
The Queen’s Office
Location: unlisted. Hours: all of them. Beezos refers to it only as “upstairs,” in a building with one floor.
Incident Log
Selected entries, most recent redactedA running log of things that happened at the Hive and were, according to the log itself, “within tolerance.”
Entry 014: Loading dock reported honey in the sprinkler lines. Sprinklers now dispense honey. This is listed as a resolved incident and also as a current amenity.
Entry 031: An associate asked Beezos a direct question during an all-hands. The recording shows six legs shifting weight and no verbal answer. Entry closed as ████████████.
Open incidents
██ — the counter has read the same redacted number for months.
Closed incidents
All of them, eventually, for reasons the log does not restate.
The NDA
Standard associate agreement, excerptEvery associate signs the same clause on day one, in honey-coloured ink that never fully dries.
Clause 1
You may describe the work. You may not describe the hum, the smell, or the number of legs involved in approving your time off.
Clause 2
“Sticky situations” are, for the purposes of this agreement, both a metaphor and a literal maintenance ticket.
Clause 3
The agreement outlives your employment, your severance, and reportedly one change of address.
Rumours & Denials
Unverified, filed anywayEvery warehouse this size grows rumours the way it grows honey: slowly, then all over everything.
Rumour: Beezos has never actually landed. Official response: “He is resting on the ceiling. This is not the same as flying.”
Rumour: the sixth leg is a rental. Official response: no response was issued, which the Hive considers a complete answer.
Confirmed
None of the above. This section exists to be quoted, not believed.
Denied
All of the above, by a spokesperson who is also, according to the org chart, the Guard.
The Ledger
In-universe record — not a financial statementThis ledger is lore, not accounting, and it is not a substitute for the Token Status panel on the front page. For the only figures that matter — token status and contract address — see the Hive’s Token Status file.
